I watched video of that little girl, and as much as I think we need to get control of the border, it still broke my heart when she talked about her mommy not having papers. I guess I’m a softy. I guess legally it would not make a difference, but I would love to hear someone like this little girls mom say she doesn’t want to go back to Mexico because she loves America. I’d like to hear her say America is a great country instead of trashing us. How about an amnesty that does not allow someone that came in illeagally to vote for 20 years, and no welfare for 15 years.

how about denying citizenship to those who break our laws? I am not so soft that I get all weepy when I see these stories.

Unfortunately, voting and welfare is just the beginning. The cost of teaching a child in our public schools is hovering around $10,000 per year. The cost of medical care is immeasurable. Why should we allow this little girl and her Mom the same rights law abiding citizens receive while others are waiting on long lines to legally become citizens?

The bottom line is that this little girl's family is breaking the law. It is not the little girl's fault, but we can not afford millions of Illegals in our country. We can not pay our own bills.
