BOSTON — The late Massachusetts U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy has been awarded Mexico's highest honor for his lifelong support of immigrants and Mexican-Americans.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon (fay-LEE'-pay kahl-duh-ROHN') on Thursday presented the Order of the Aztec Eagle to Kennedy's widow, Vicki, in Washington, D.C.

Kennedy's longtime Senate colleagues John Kerry of Massachusetts and Christopher Dodd of Connecticut also were present.

The award honors heads of state and other foreign dignitaries for distinguished service to Mexico or to humankind.

I'll drink to that!

Still, this article is three hours old, and the presentation was to Vicki.

On July 22, 2008 , Mexico Honors Kennedy for Defending Immigrants , it was announced that Mexico will soon bestow its highest honor upon liberal Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) for his work in “defending the rights of immigrants.” ... The Mexican government announced last Friday that it intends to present Kennedy with the Order of the Aztec Eagle...Ricardo Alday, a spokesman for the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C., told Cybercast News Service that the award, the highest that Mexico gives to foreigners, will be presented “at a time that is convenient to the senator.”

Ricardo, I'm not sure this is a time convenient to the Senator.

Could this make Sen. Kennedy feel better, where he is? I think I’ll have a drink and ponder theology ...

Well in the name of the ‘saint’ Teddy Kennedy, let US introduce Mexican Immigration Law as our own, demonstrating our unity.

Ah yes--the coveted "Flaming Flatus" award, for heroic ingestion of legendary quantities of tacos made from Iguana flesh and pitchers of Carta Blanca beer.

The Aztecs practiced human sacrifice-Ted Kennedy fought for the sacrifice of unborn humans;therefore the award is entirely appropiate.

Apparently, El Presidente has never observed Sen Kennedy attempt a crossing, via car, of a bridge over the Rio Grande River.

Congress ought to match this with the Order of the Soggy Oldsmobile, 1st Class.

Good thing the Rio Grande is so shallow. Even Teddy couldn’t drown the Mexicans in that river.

Following Kennedy’s death, Ed Klein, an editor for New York Times Magazine and an author of several books about the Kennedy family, stated that Kennedy would OFTEN pose the question to people he met,

“Have you heard any new jokes about Chappaquiddick?”

Klein also said, “It’s not that he didn’t feel remorse about the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, but that he still always saw the other side of everything and the ridiculous side of things, too.” (!!! Yeah, right, Hahahaha. Liar, Klein)]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chappaquiddick_incident

Note: this Wikipedia article is a complete white wash of the scum’s actions, and his efforts to get his friends to falsely accept blame for him. Read the 2 books written about it - you will be outraged.

They actually found him in the morning dry, sober (after 12 hours of course he is now sober), walking around town, LAUGHING, on his way to breakfast -— when he was first confronted and then finally made to admit the accident.

Tell me: what kind of person laughs about his car accident where a young girl died ????????

Only special people, I think.

Ted Kennedy (D-HELL)
