What part or parts of the LA Times article are not true? Has anyone refuted the reporting? Do you approve of politicians lying about their military service?
I personally think that military service is largely irrelevant to a political career. Ronald Reagan did pretty well for a Reserve Cavalry officer who made training films during WWII. Jimmy Carter was an Academy grad and the worst President of my lifetime (at least until his Barakness came along). But, when they lie about their service, they lose my respect and my vote. If they will lie about their personal lives and their qualifications to serve, they will lie about anything that advances their personal agenda. I do not care to have such people in political office. I’m a little funny that way.
Show me the lie first, then I’ll comment on it.
Im a little funny that way.
In other words, you’re honest.
