She in France, apparently. It begs the question, can you get on a flight if you have an active warrant out for your arrest? I don't know. I presume it's a misdemeanor appearance warrant.
If the NYC bomber is any indication, apparently you can.

Another slut drug addict Hollywood loser.
This is actually used as public relations and to keep her in the news.

I hear Eric Holder is going to intervene on her behalf.
She will be appointed to a senior White House position.

I saw a head line elsewhere that she was "stuck" in Cannes and couldn't get home.
Probably stuck to a hypo.

From Tmz.com -
The rep says, "Anyone who enters the country who has an active warrant in the law enforcement database will be detained by their office and local authorities will be called."
"Law enforcement sources in L.A. tell us either the Los Angeles Airport police or the LAPD would then take Lindsay into custody and book her."

"any publicity is good publicity" That's true, up to a point. In Lohan's case, this behavior is becoming problematic because no one will insure her. Even if she's able to find a producer/director who wants to hire her, they can't get an insurance company to cover the film because of her "unreliability".
Robert Downey Jr. was in a similar predicament until Mel Gibson gave him a part, and underwrote the film. Lohan is going to have to be sober for some time, before she's seen in another Hollywood studio or even indy picture.

Robert Downey, Jr. has oodles of talent, too.
Plus, he is a Republican.

"The rep says, "Anyone who enters the country who has an active warrant in the law enforcement database will be detained by their office and local authorities will be called." Thanks. I was pretty sure that Customs would have held her as soon as she presented her passport upon entry. But, given the way many clearances are given pre-flight and since the advent of the no-fly list, I wasn't sure if boarding was even possible. I guess it is. Hopefully, it's more dependent on what the warrant was actually for.

The judge is a woman. Not sure if that makes a difference in this case, though.

Celebs get a slap on the wrist where the “average Joe” would get a much more stiff penalty... and then they just walk away from what little sentence they do get.
