LA should put it’s illegal immigrants on treadmills to power the city.

Nothing else could be expected from Villaraigosa. He owes his position to LA's Hispanic population, and would never dream of saying or doing anything that might alienate them. Therefore, Arizona must act on the implications, and end all sales of electrical power to Los Angeles until the "boycott" is officially denounced.

In for a penny, in for a pound, Angelenos!

Oh, they didn’t mean they were going to boycott the good stuff, just travel to our hotels (where a LOT of the illegals are employed). Good job there Antonio, eliminate the jobs of your brothers and sisters.

“The mayor stands strongly behind the city council and he will not respond to threats from the state...."

So now they're against threats. LOL!

Arizona should announce a new program where they will reclocate businesses from any boycotting city to AZ, provide free electricity for 5 years, and free flights there on AZ airlines. And every person on welfare or finishing a prison sentence in AZ, legal or not, will get a one-way airline ticket to the boycotting city of their choice, first class.

Last night, Fox News, in the person of Shep Smith, was reporting that Mr. Pierce “threatened” to cut off LA’s electricity. Mr. Smith then smirkingly reported that he “doesn’t have the power” to do such a thing. It was obvious that whoever had written that particular “news” story had NOT actually read Mr. Pierce’s letter.

This morning, the Fox News morning crew, with the exception of one of the interchangeable guys whose name I can’t remember, was pretty much repeating the same BS.

In both cases, I had to change the channel before my head exploded.

Are they idiots? Do they have poor reading comprehension skills? Do they just read whatever is put in front of them without questioning? If so, who is WRITING their drivel?

Does anyone know the answers to these questions?

I think SoCal’s Metropolitan Water District also purchases large amounts of water from AZ sources.

The mayor and LA city council have had their bluff called. Now, put your cards on the table and let's see what you've got. Oh my, AZ has a straight flush and LA has a 2-6-9-3-5. Boo-hoo, CA.

Wouldn’t an “accidental” surge of electrons to LA from Arizona be a better response to a boycott?

CAPS: To Boycott Arizona, Mayor Villaraigosa Orders All Los Angeles Residents to Cut Electricity Consumption By 25 Percent... (Just Kidding)

“This just shows how ridiculous and hypocritical it is for Los Angeles and other cities to call for a boycott of Arizona,” said Marilyn DeYoung, Chairman of the Board of Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS).

The Arizona legislation incorporates current federal law into state law. The requirement for foreigners to carry identification has been part of federal law for 70 years, and the “reasonable suspicion” standard is the same as that used by federal officers.

“Since the Arizona law incorporates federal standards, Los Angeles should boycott the United States. Mayor Villaraigosa should be consistent and refuse to accept any federal dollars,” said DeYoung.

The mayor should make the Lakers boycott the next two games in Phoenix. Maybe then Los Suns can win a game and things will be more fair...

Los Angeles. A city filled with blacks and illegals having brown-outs/black-outs during the nice summer nights! So what could possibly go wrong?

California is like the Titanic. The water is sloshing over the bow and the lifeboats are running out. Those who are choosing to still cling onto the ship should not expect any outside help.
