Doesn’t this sound kinda like what Arizona intends to do? So, why all the hoopla over Arizona? California too has similar laws on the books. Seems to me there’s a whole lot of boycotting that could be going on in addition to Arizona.

screening policy will prevent criminals who don't belong on the streets from reoffending.For a few weeks (days?), anyhow, until INS turns them loose with a suggestion that they appear at a hearing or until they wet right back across the border after "deportation."
