VIDEO [VANCOUVER]: Peaceful Pro-Lifers Threatened With Violence by Enraged Young Man

VANCOUVER, May 19, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - On the day after Canada's National March for Life drew unprecedented crowds and national media coverage, an enraged young man threatened a group of pro-lifers peacefully witnessing to the tragedy of abortion at a busy Vancouver intersection.

Last Friday the unknown individual approached the pro-life witnesses, who have gathered for several years on the corner of Broadway and Commercial Drive displaying graphic images of aborted babies, and repeatedly kicked, grabbed, and attempted to deface the signs of the pro-lifers.

The incident was caught on film by Campaign Life Coalition BC's president, John Hof, who has posted the video on YouTube.

Been there...the violence comes from the other side...I was screamed at, hosed, one elderly man in our group was beaten, a gun was pointed at us, almost ran over by an abortion worker, generally 5 police cars would show and threatened to arrest us if anyone was within 10 feet of each other praying. It is the gates of hell. Oh also the homosexuals show up with monkey crosses on their backs.

I was thinking more of a sharp kick to his groin area and then playing a little football with his head. Of course, Americans tend to be a lot more violent than Canadians.

I didn't see any pro-lifers running away.

The fact that they did nothing to provoke him (apart from inconveniencing him by expressing uncomfortable truths in public), nor were they provoked into retaliating, basically just showed up the punk's, um, douchebaggery for what it was: an unjustified assault.
