“An event like this would have gone wrong at my house.”
BS, I guarantee that once you’re looking down the barrel of a dozen machine guns you’ll quietly surrender just like every other middle class dude with visions of going out in a blaze of glory. The only people that do not give up in this kind of situation are those just going off their Prozac and people convinced that they are going to be killed anyway and so have nothing left to lose. So unless you’ve just stopped taking your meds I doubt that you’ll be doing anything other than walking out (backwards) with your hands held high.
I don’t like these damn SWAT teams being used for every little thing out there, they’re nothing but a bunch of thugs for the most part violating our rights but the intimidation factor does work very effectively which is why they keep on using them. To bad human nature is not a little different and we did not have such a strong desire for self preservation, then the SWAT teams would rapidly disappear. Unless human nature changes this will continue.

Hmmm, I suppose this means I should remember to take my Prozac...
;)
Look, you jerkoff, try thinking about it before spouting off.
Do some research about how SWAT teams like to take out dogs and how they would have reacted if they’d have seen me with a gun.
I’m not talking about going out in a blaze of glory, I’m talking about those guys being under trained and nervous.
Badly doesn’t necessarily mean I open fire first and then get gunned down.
