It interests me because I spent 20 years in that area; worked at Rogue Valley Hospital, where he was taken. I also knew several local officers, either from working with their wives at the hospital; or their frequent presence there; or from hunting/shooting activities.

I also had “contact” with some real winners, especially the one I argued with for over 30 minutes on opening day, fishing rule book in hand, until I demanded he call the District Commander, whom I knew.
