Blogger Doug Ross and William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection think they’ve spotted a “poser” at the Blumenthal press conference. For those of you who are not familiar with the term, it applies to the thousands of people who claim either Vietnam war status or medals they did not earn. The man in question is standing just behind Bluemnthal to the right (Blumenthal’s left). Ross writes:

There's a world of draft dodgers out there who dishonored the United States in its entirity and portrayed our country as a pitiful helpless giant unable to even counsel its traitors to say nothing of hang them.
Guys who served who "embellished" are a cut above the traitors.
Until this nation drags every single draft dodger out and disposes of him like the garbage he was, we should minimize our time abusing the embellishers ~ not that they should be allowed to do what they are doing, but let's put first things first.

Not quite. They'll leave their women behind. While they are lamenting the loss of their draft dodger boyfriends, and wailing and gnashing their teeth, we'll crush our enemies, and see them driven before us.
Something like that.
Did you realize the guy who wrote Conan the Barbarian was a reclusive stay-at-home. Think of him as an early, pre-computer internet geek type. Great sound bytes though!
