The Dallas Solution

I have a friend who is president of his homeowners association in the Dallas, Texas suburbs. They were having a terrible problem with litter near some of his association’s homes. The reason according to Wallace (my friend) is that six very large, luxurious new houses are being built right next to their community.

The trash was coming from the Mexican laborers working at the construction sites and included bags from McDonald’s, Burger King and 7-11, plus coffee cups, napkins, cigarette butts, coke cans, empty bottles, etc. He went to see the site supervisor and even the general contractor, politely urging them to get their workers not to litter the neighborhood, to no avail. He called the city, county, and police and got no help there either.

So here’s what his community did. They organized about twenty folks, named themselves The “Inner Neighborhood Services” group, and arranged to go out at lunch time and “police” the trash themselves. It is what they did while picking up the trash that is so hilarious.

They bought navy blue baseball caps and had the initials “INS” embroidered in gold on the caps.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand what they hoped people might mistakenly think the letters really stand for.

After the Inner Neighborhood Services group’s first lunch time pickup detail, with all of them wearing their caps and some carrying cameras, 46 out of the total of 68 construction workers did not show up for work the next morning — and haven’t come back yet.

It has been ten days now.

The General Contractor, I’m told, is madder than hell, but can’t say anything publicly because he could be busted for hiring illegal aliens. Wallace and his bunch can’t be accused of impersonating federal personnel, because they have the official name of the group recorded in their homeowner association minutes along with a notation about the vote to approve formation of the new subcommittee — and besides, they informed the INS in advance of their plans and according to Wallace, the INS said basically, “Have at it!”

SO, FOLKS, I THINK YOU COULD SAY THAT TEXAS INGENUITY TRIUMPHS AGAIN!

***************************
Reminder: Don’t forget to pay your taxes.......
12 million illegal aliens are depending on you.

I am a retired ELA (English Language Aquisition) teacher in the Denver Area, and I have to tell..... you EVERYTHING that is written here is TRUE!!

THIS HAS GOT TO BE PASSED ALONG TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE OR WE WILL ALL GO DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE A FEW DON’T CARE.

This English teacher has phrased it the best I’ve seen yet.
Tomatoes and Cheap Labor

CHEAP TOMATOES?
This should make everyone think, be you Democrat, Republican or Independent.

From a California school teacher - - -

“As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:

I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens , Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I’m not talking a glass of milk and a roll — but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten.

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids.

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing
funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America ...

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students, here in the country less than 3 months, who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them “Putas”(whores) and throwing things, that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical, free education, free food, free day care etc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases. For me, I’ll pay more for tomatoes.

Americans, We need to wake up.

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: It involves an American third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about “political correctness” that we don’t have the will to do anything about it.

If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know.

CHEAP LABOR? Isn’t that what the whole immigration issue is about?

Business doesn’t want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don’t want expensive produce.

Government will tell you Americans don’t want the jobs.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase “cheap labor” is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as “cheap labor.”

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an “earned income credit” of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are, or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI. If qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicaid. All of this is at (our) taxpayer’s expense.

He doesn’t worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.

Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT!

THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS OF EITHER PARTY. AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON’T DO AS THEY SAY (or what we ask?), WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM .

Please pass this on to as many as possible. Immigration legislation is to be considered in 2010. This is important to working Americans, our economy and our American culture and heritage.

I have one question and I address it to the Human Rights Commission in China when they criticized our “racial profiling” Arizona laws. When the North Koreans cross over the border because they are hungry and need refuge, is it racial profiling to round them up and send them back to North Korea? Obviously, they look different from the average Chinese citizen (and not just because they are sick, immaciated and ragged). They are “singled” out why??? Because they’re North Korean or there illegally?

If the majority of illegal alliens in this country are of hispanic origin, it isn’t because they are hispanic that causes any problems, it’s because they are here illegally.

When times were good in America, we overlooked the migration north. When times are bad in America, we cannot overlook it. As simply as possible, if Uncle Che is out of work and his family has lost their home, we can give them a roof over their heads, but at some point, Uncle Che has to provide something for his family. We, too, are stretching a budget and five more mouths to feed is going to require a little extra from Uncle Che. I realize that our beloved Uncle Che is doing everything in his power to make a contribution, but there comes a point when we're all pulling with all oars and it isn't enough.

Or, my personal favorite. In my house, I make the rules because I pay the bills. If I tell you no cookies before supper because a) it will ruin your dinner and b) I’ve only budgeted for so many cookies per week, and you decide my rules are unfair and I catch you with your hand in the cookie jar, I can make it up by: a) making you miss supper and go without cookies for the rest of the week and if you’re really a little snot b) no more cookies. Rules is rules.

Tell me please how the hell Juan McLame is even close in the race in AZ? This traitor has switched sides and is fighting JD harder than he went after his buddy Barry.

Because he promises to NEVER do it again (go against the expressed requests of his constituents, that is), and they believe him. Do I think he is a good man? Yes, weak character in the political arena, but yes. Is he a good politician? Well, until he crossed swords with his constituents, probably. Did I support him in the last presidential election? You betcha’! I researched the candidates and as much as I wanted to see a qualified African American in the White House, the candidate proffered by the Democrats was not the one. Thus, therefore, I voted for the candidate who was left. Was he a disappointment? Well, his campaign organization sure was.

You choose the lesser of evils (or has his mother said, “[You'll] hold your nose and vote for Johnny.” We can all see what we get when we ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to take anything less than the perfect candidate. We get the really AWFUL candidate. In the State of Arizona, it appears they have another option. If Arizonans truly vet this Hayworth and he is all that he says he is, they won't have to hold their noses this time, no matter HOW much the incumbent senator from Arizona promises to never do it again.

I too voted for what was handed to us. Never again. You are seeing a shift in the candidates. Juan, Linseed and the like are going to go the way of the 8-Track tape player.

Enough is Enough!

Great post...and not the first time I have heard this.

Illegal Alien Amnesty is Anti-American Bigotry.

The borders need to be secure and the illegal aliens deported.

The Liberal Free Trader Globalists, who push ythe “low wage/high vegetable price” myth are just committing treason, along with their buddies on the Commie Left.
