I was just appalled to see all the Vets standing with Blumenthal. Why would they do that? It dishonors REAL men who served.

It is CT, a very Democrat run State. However, there are questions being raised if some of the people standing behind Blumenthal really were Vets that served. All will come out soon.
As a resident of CT I am pleased that Blumenthal is taking heat as he was thought to be a shoe in for the Senate office. Not any more, calls for his resignation at his present job, Atty. General, are strong.
Also, Ct. Secretary of State, who was a strong runner for Atty. General, has been found not to be qualified for that position. So today, we have two of our top Democrats essentially gone.

As a former USMC, (not in VN) (61-64) but spent 4 years in Okinawa. This is beyond belief. Marines from MCLeague (many political hacks in the background), supporting a lier. I have written notes to MarCorLge and the VFW. These dudes have brought discredit to good origs. I say, get rid of this scap.

As a VFW member, I was appalled to see the VFW shield on the lectern. To the credit of the VFW members and officers of that post, though, there was not a single VFW patch or hat visible on any of those standing with him.
