It is also entirely possible that Arlen would be the Republican nominee right now had he stayed put in 2009. There is a lesson to be learned from patience, Arlen. I would think Toomey will be hard pressed to win in Novemvber, as Arlen always said he would be, considering the PA commitment to liberalism ad infinitum.

Excellent point, and that is why we are always, it seems, losing ground.

I sorta remember that. Wasn’t Joe Biden the donor?

Agree! Perhaps the voters finally get it! It will be wonderful not to have to hear his voice or see his face ever again! Same goes for Murtha and Kennedy! Perhaps we are beginning to see a little light at the end of this long, dark tunnel!
Yes, Reid is next...and Pelosi, Boxer, etc., too! They all need go, and then with them gone, we can work on the big stinking fish.....Barry Sotero.

Maybe he can run for office somewhere in Scotland!

What do you have against the Scots?

Rand Paul is what a true Republican is. He supports getting rid of the socialism Obama has created.

Well, has the old scumbag asked for a recount under Scottish Law yet?

From the article
But the same energy that helped Paul to victory presented problems to be handled carefully by the Republicans in the run-up to November, when control of both houses of Congress will be at stake.
Uh, control is at stake every November congressional election.
Paul has said he might not support his fellow Kentuckian, McConnell, for a new term as party leader. And no sooner had Tuesday’s results been posted than Richard Viguerie, a longtime conservative warrior, suggested McConnell step aside.
The far-flung races took place a little less than five months before the midterm elections.
Six months. Less than 6 months. The guy can’t count to six.
President Barack Obama backed incumbents in his party’s races, but despite the stakes for his legislative agenda the White House insisted he was not following the results very closely.
Yeah, right.
When you’re King, you don’t pay much attention to what the peasants are doing.
Remember how he couldn’t be bothered to look out the window when there were 1,000,000 Tea Parties in the streets of DC ???

....which is why I wanted him to win. He had no chance against the pub; Sestak does.
But I have to say I love seeing him getting bitched by the rats. They got what they wanted out him, then tossed him like a piece a used toilet paper.

He’ll probably just go Nixonian, but I’d rather see him go Cpt. Queeg instead.

I agree. Although I LOVE seeing Arlen get bitched by zero the way he did, the pleasure is short-lived - sort of like eating white bread - “a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips”.

Although I would have much preferred for Arlen to win for general election purposes, I must admit it is SO sweet to see him get SO bitched by the rats. The only thing sweeter would be to see McShame get bitten by Hayworth.
