In My Michigan district the second most conservative candidate recently made a fatal mistake of blowing off the Right to life banquet to go fundraising with the main street republicans.
I wasn’t going to vote for him but I was hopeful he would run for an instate office. Now I’m not so sure I want him involved in Michigan politics at all. The main street republicans have been for fetal stem cell research, against drilling for oil, pro amnesty etc.
At least the most conservative candidate is still leading the entire field.
