lol, conservatives are glad Rand won, he is a conservative with libertarian leanings. He is not his father.
His father is a kook. He probably knows this too.
Straws polls are worth straw, which is pretty meaningless unless you are animal stock.

Oh, I doubt that very much; Rand and Ron seem to have a very close and filial relationship.
I don't think that Rand thinks that Ron is a kook, he probably just thinks that Ron is a libertarian -- which Rand is fairly close to himself, other than being a bit tougher on Terror and Afghanistan and keeping State-level anti-drug laws on the books, and a bit more pragmatic of a Team Player with other Conservatives in the GOP.
