not exactly sure what Alex Jones did in this campaign but that sounds funny.
Most likely was interviewed once by him and they attacked Paul for it.

Libertines might want to chill. Paul is not one of yours.

Rand Paul on Abortion

I am 100% pro life. I believe abortion is taking the life of an innocent human being.

I believe life begins at conception and it is the duty of our government to protect this life.

I will always vote for any and all legislation that would end abortion or lead us in the direction of ending abortion. I believe in a Human Life Amendment and a Life at Conception Act as federal solutions to the abortion issue. I also believe that while we are working toward this goal, there are many other things we can accomplish in the near term.

It is unconscionable that government would facilitate the taking of innocent life. I strongly oppose any federal funding for abortion and will stop the flow of tax dollars to groups like Planned Parenthood, who perform or advocate abortions.

In addition, I believe we may be able to save millions of lives in the near future by allowing states to pass their own anti-abortion laws. If states were able to do so, I sincerely believe many — including Kentucky — would do so tomorrow, saving hundreds of thousands of lives. Before 1973, abortion was illegal in most states. Since Roe v. Wade, over 50 million children have died in abortion procedures.

I would strongly support legislation restricting federal courts from hearing cases like Roe v. Wade. Such legislation would only require a majority vote, making it more likely to pass than a pro-life constitutional amendment.

I would support legislation, a Sanctity of Life Amendment, establishing the principle that life begins at conception. This legislation would define life at conception in law, as a scientific statement.

As your Senator, there are many ways I can help end abortion. I will fight for each and every one of them.

Dr. Paul has been endorsed by the Northern KY Right To Life.

Paul is up somewhere between 4 to 8 points against Conway and Mongriado.

Calm down. He ran as far away from Ron Paul as he could.

Honestly I think the pundits dont have a clue what the hell is going on. They all look like they have been blind sided by a freight train. They are no longer in control. Its funny

I think Sarah's endorsement was HUGE for Rand. It came very early, and very strong.

Good endorsement by her but I don't want to take away credit from Rand Paul. He was up in the polls back in Nov, a good three months before Sarah endorsed him. Again, good job by Sarah in endorsing him, but credit is due to Rand Paul who was ahead in the race before big endorsements.

I fully disagree with libertarian pro-choice positions. Pre-birth life is still life and in possession of all rights granted by the Creator.

There are many libertarians who are pro-life.

And - please - what is his position on allowing the Amnesty of individuals who historically vote for Politicos who support Abortion?

Just asking - don't flame?

He’s not what people think he is. He just rode the tea party to his goal.

I’m just kinda hoping there is a blue dog Dem running against Paul so I don’t feel obligated to vote for him in November. And I’m as rabidly conservative as they come.

How is he polling vs. likely Dem primary winners?

Against Conway, it is Rand slightly ahead, 42-39.

Against Mongiardo, it is Rand by 43-38.

No, no, no! Cap and Tax Castle can be stopped. Christine has an army of foot soldiers laying the ground work now. Castle's got lots of money but no true believers. Christine is a solid conservative and she can win.

Have to say that watching CNN and Donna Brazile is a hoot... Much more fun than watching FOX. I do love to hear the pundits there give there reasons why Specter might lose...heh.

Might have to watch CNN more often - heaven help me...but it is for entertainment only...

Paul’s the ONLY Palin pick that I hope wins in the Senate. I was more impressed that Jim DeMint endorsed him.

So Rand Paul is the only Palin pick you like?

You don't like any of there?

1. Nikki Haley
2. Michelle Bachmann
3. Scott Brown
4. Doug Hoffman
5. Rand Paul
6. Marco Rubio
7. Chris Christie
8. Bob McDonnell
9. Sean Duffy
10, Susana Martinez
11. Tom Emmer – MN Governor
12. Tim Burns - PA 12th Congressional District
13. Lt Colonel Allen West – FL Congressional District 22
14. Major Vaughn Ward - Idaho’s 1st Congressional District
15. Captain Adam Kinzinge - Illinois’ 11th Congressional District
