The paper also reports this:
According to Bedford police records, officers twice responded to the Kennedy home on South Bedford Road this month.
Last Thursday police received a 911 call from the home. Officers responded because the caller hung up before speaking to police. Dickan provided no details, but records show that officers arrived at the home at 9:16 p.m. and remained for 48 minutes. They left after filing a New York state domestic incident report.

Three days earlier, on May 10, police received a call from the home reporting a domestic dispute between the Kennedy children, Dickan said. No details were provided in that incident. But records show that officers remained for 1 hour and 17 minutes.
There were no reported arrests in either of the incidents.
I thought that if cops responded to a domestic call, someone had to go to jail.
