When you’re on FR for a long time, it becomes almost knee jerk to question to motives of newbies. The troll count lately has been small, but it still happens.
Here’s the secret: i’ve been on FR (lurking and donating every single quarter) since 1998. I just started posting at the insistent suggestion of my best friend, an old time FReeper. Seniority doesn’t mean a thing and Ted Kennedy proved it. So to see some using it as if it’s a valid argument when I am so sure they never donated to FR in their life, it’s just plain lame. And liberal, since lurking is a form of entitlement.
