Maybe Blumenthal will assert that distributing Toys for Tots in Anacostia might be comparable to a war zone, like Viet Nam.

The fact that he is caught on video ought to cook his goose.
He was very blatant about "when I served in Viet Nam".

In the military, lying about your service, deployment, rank, or medals, is the worst thing you can ever do.
It is a big sin and, in the eyes of fellow servicemen, makes you a POS.

Many of us served in the Vietnam ERA. Note: ERA. I am always careful with that explaination.

I bet he’ll try the “old news lets move on for the good of the people” tack.

Blumenthal's Claims About Having Served In Vietnam Being Challenged Being challenged???? I think they've gone further than that and proven that Blumenthal never came close to going to Vietnam

If he was never in Vietnam that is an easy thing to find out. I saw him in a speech directly say something about “his time in Vietnam” so if he is trying to say he didn’t say that he was there then he is a liar.
