No, not at the story. At the headline—I had to read 2 paragraphs or so before I found out this guy is a REPUBLICAN!
Usually on these ‘neener, neener’ type announcements, the affiliation is emblazoned across the headline for Republicans, NEVER for Democrats.
Of course, this IS Fox reporting, so that makes a difference.
Another one bites the dust—TEA party people want ALL the bad’uns out, so who’s going to take his place? Any good conservatives in those parts to step up?
As soon as I red “to resign amid affair...” I knew he was a Republican. If he were a Democrat, he would still be there with the Dems defending him.
