There they go again -- bashing America on the world stage.
Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner reports that in recent talks with China, US officials put America's human-rights record on a par with Beijing's.
"Part of a mature [US-Chinese] relationship is that you have an open discussion, where you not only raise the other guy's problems, but you raise your own, and you have a discussion about it, about your own [problems]," Posner said.
"We did plenty of that."
Moreover, he said, "experts from the US side" talked about America's "treatment of Muslim Americans in an immigration context."
They even ripped Arizona's new immigration law "as a troubling trend in our society." Bragged Posner: "We brought it up early and often."
No doubt they did.

This is beyond appalling. On one hand, liberals are known for their ineptitude at foreign affairs. On the other hand, they are engaged in a deliberate effort to destroy this country while the have a grip on the levers of power.
Which is it? Incompetence or malice?
I think it is malice compounded by incompetence.
More campaign fodder to use against the libs in commercials!
If the GOP wasn’t such a bunch of cucumber finger sandwiches, the lefty’s would grovel at our feet too. Chicoms, Stalin, Che, Castro, Janet Reno....lefties love, and want to submit to power.
“Which is it? Incompetence or malice?”
If you add abject ignorance to that equation, it would more precisely describe them.
Behind closed doors, the Chinese representatives must have been laughing their asses’ off!
.. and there's the story about Secretary of State George Shultz. He'd ask State Department employees to use the globe and show him the country they represented. Invariably he had to spin the globe back and point to the United States of America.
(after a fair and speedy trial, of course)
(ha-ha, just kidding -- about that trial thingy)
Some years ago - I think it was during Colin Powell’s tenure - a US State Dept delegate to an OAS conference publicly stated that he ‘wanted to vote in favor’ of a resolution censuring the US, but his superiors wouldn’t let him...
Wonder if this is the same guy....
“US officials put America’s human-rights record on a par with Beijing’s.”
Rev. 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. “
(Capitals emphasis mine)
November’s gonna leave a mark...
