Laura Bush is really showing herself in the last couple of weeks. Of course her hubby and FIL were never conservative in the first place.

I’m really glad my gut told me NOT to buy her book — I knew she’d grown up a Dem but thought the affliction had been obliterated over time. True, though, that “W” and Bush the elder were never conservative.
Wish Laura would’ve kept her mouth shut a few more years though — this leaves a bad taste in mine..........
I think Laura Bush was pretty limited in what she could say while W was president.
I get the feeling that she’d like to be accepted by the media, after having them pile on her husband for 8 years. I think she tired of being the bad guy.
