STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Conservative favorite Sarah Palin is headed to Colorado - but one Republican isn't happy about her timing.
Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck said Monday that it's "rude" for the former Alaska governor to headline a Denver speech on Saturday, hours after the state GOP gathers for a statewide assembly in Loveland, about 50 miles from Denver.
Last week, Palin included Buck's rival in positive comments to an anti-abortion group. Palin called former Lt. Gov. Jane Norton and other conservative women "pink elephants" who would succeed in office.
Buck and Norton are both seeking the Republican nomination. Both Palin and Buck are favorites of conservatives and tea party groups.

I'm not sure if this is a prelude to a Norton endorsement, but my nerves are on edge. I am praying that Sarah doesn't endorse Norton. She is a McCain stooge.

I know nothing about her and I don’t live in Colorado so I am SO staying out of this..but I think she is endorsing her..its looking that way
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
If she endorses Norton, Sarah has finished her 15 minutes.

Looks like Ken didn’t ask for Sarah’s support but Norton did.

The Arizona law goes too far, according to Tom Tancredo.

I know nothing about it. Don’t know Norton, don’t know Buck..so I am staying out of this discussion, but I think she might be endorsing Sue Lowden, which is weird since her father is a HUGE supporter of Tarkanian
To: rabidralph
he was misquoted. He supports it 100%

I don't know either one - first I'm reading about them but according to the article - that's the way it looks.
Went to Norton's site and found this...
Jane Norton has been subjected to a million dollars in attacks by Ken Buck's friends at the ASJ for precisely the same reason they're attacking Democratic Senator Lincoln's opponent in Arkansas: they are actively trying to influence the election for Buck in Colorado and the liberal Lincoln in Arkansas.
Why does it matter? Any group who will aid the cause of liberal Blanche Lincoln (Lincoln voted for Obamacare, Obama stimulus, and the bank bailout) doesn't stand for the conservative values that make America strong.
For all the Buck supporters showing supposed outrage over my email, here's a suggestion: call Ken and ASJ, and tell them to pull their smear ads. Until they do, we're going to continue to point out that Ken's association with the phony-conservative, Washington-based ASJ is as peculiar as the fact that Bill Ritter is Ken Buck's best friend and best man. Remind me again which Republican candidate is the consummate political insider?

Looks like Ken didnt ask for Sarahs support but Norton did. If that is the case, he deserves to lose. Sorry to see that happen, because he was favored by many TEA partiers.

The Fiorina endorsement didn't set off alarm bells in your head? I didn't like it but I understood it from Sarah's POV.
Ken Buck though is a viable contender and a genuine conservative. He deserves support.

Seems he has his own group - the Washington-based ASJ. Whatever that is.

These are Norton's position on the issues...what is "RINO" about her positions???
Economy
- Opposes President Obama's stimulus package
- Opposes earmarks
- Supports government that includes lower taxes, a balanced budget, reduced national debt and regulatory reform
Health Care
- Opposes a single payer system and Democratic federal health care reform
- Supports tort reform
Climate change
- Opposes cap and trade
- Supports alternative energy
Social issues
- Supports U.S. Supreme Court justice nominees who are strict constructionists
- Supports pro-life causes
- Against same sex marriage
- Against gun control
- Against amnesty for illegal immigrants

Let's see now. Palin supports McCain over Hayworth (I know, I know...loyalty). Fiorina is the McCain-back RINO in CA, Palin endorses her. Norton is the McCain-backed RINO in CO (Norton said McCain "inspired" her to run); Palin supports Norton. Oh yeah, and her PAC gave money to Grahamnesty. Yes, let's continue to delude ourselves that Palin is a conservative.
Donate to real conservatives:
Chuck DeVore
JD Hayworth
Ken Buck

Anyone who thinks Sarah is a fraud, has been spending too much time in the DU forum! If she is endorsing RINOS, she is no conservative. I left the Republican Party when McShame was nominated.
If Palin is the new Republican Party; no thanks.
