Charlie Crist received a bounce in the polls when he left the Republican Party to run for the U.S. Senate as an independent. New numbers suggest that the bounce for the governor is over.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in Florida finds Republican Marco Rubio with 39% support, while Crist earns 31% of the vote and Democrat Kendrick Meek trails at 18%. Twelve percent (12%) are undecided.

He bounced at the same time Rubio did his little dance on AZ. He seems to have gotten his mind right since, but that didn’t help Rubio in the short run.
Next Meek will pull out. You watch.

You mean the Dems won’t have a candidate in one of the biggest states in the country? I don’t think so. The Dems will field a candidate—count on it.
Meek won’t drop out. The leftist base and the black voters will not tolerate Meek being pushed out. They aren’t going to support Crist either. Crist is a man without a party. A narcissist in every sense of the word.
I am still not comfortable that Rubio is not Mel Martinez.
Rubio said AZ’s law is good for AZ. No Marco it would be good for FL too and every state.
My guess is Rubio will win because Crist is just so slimy.
I hope you are right. if the dems pushed out Meeks in order to run with crist, I would think that such an action would be very illustrative to black voters, but perhaps not.
Meek will drop out. 0 will give him a cushy job as consolation. You may be right about Crist but he’s more likely to get Dem votes than gop.

LOL. So the Dems are going to endorse Crist? And the black guy, Meeks, gets thrown under the bus? So how do you think that will affect Dem turnout? They will all flock to Crist? Yeah right. And look at what is happening to Spector.
They tried it once before about 20 years ago. The dems had some power in Florida then. They haven’t since.
