She’s Lebanese... they are often a blend of cultures, depending on which part they grew up, and it’s not uncommon to have mixes of religion within the family.
Many people forget there are pockets of christians across the middle east. Some of the traditions they keep are cultural, just as some jews celebrate Christmas in a secular way.
