I was a kid when Cronkite was the “most trusted man in America”. Were the other network anchors just as bad? The only other guy I remember from childhood was Roger Mudd. I also remember my dad watching Paul Harvey’s editorials.

The problem wasn’t were they just as bad, the issue was they were a “ trusted source” and deemed to be just presenting the news.

That would apply for all of them in my opinion.

Now we know there was an agenda, and Cronkite used his “ trusted status” to push it.

Todays MSM for the most part is on the same path, and in a sound bite / what happened today era able to get away with a lot more......
