You won’t find too many of the haters on this thread. Palin is supporting an uber conservative in South Carolina. That doesn’t fit into the “irrelevants’” narrow view.

She never gets credit for the bulk of her endorsements have been to excellent conservatives.

Sarah Palin is a conservative woman who wants to promote conservative women and conservative men, in that order.

Understand that I'm using "conservative" the way the political culture uses the term. In reality, the Constitution is a progressive document, and in American "conservatism" is about preserving the liberal institutions of the Constitution against the "liberal" "progressive" people who actually are against both liberty and progress. There is actually no contradiction between promoting the change of increasing women in powerful government positions and conserving the freedom to work toward such changes.

To the extent that Gov. Palin succeeds in promoting conservative women and men (and demoting liberal women and men, she will cut into one of the two main voting blocs that Democrats have counted on. I always thought that we'd have a conservative black president first, but she's pushing for a conservative woman president. But either way . . .

If Palin can prevent the Democrats from getting their winning edge from women, the Democrats won't be able to make up the loss anywhere else. And they have to know it.

Of course not. Sarah draws more negative attention from some than even Obama gets, no matter what policies of destruction he enacts. But then again, they are just a tiny minority, whose 1% candidate is a blip on the radar in the world of election statistics.

Your tagline has it right: “A loud band of PaulBots, Isolationists, Protectionists, 911Inside Jobnuts, 3rdParty Loud Irrelevants.”

They sure are loud, but they are most definitely irrelevant!
