I just don’t want to be standing in the stall at the shooting range next to that guy when he does it.

As long as him aim is good there shouldn't be too much splatter into your stall.

In this case of mom shooting her son and then herself, I think it's safe to say the splatter wasn't contained to the first lane's partition.
