That sounds like a plan to me. We couldn’t be any worse off than we are now. Bush allowed the Iranians to play him for a sucker. He had no plan to discourage Iran from getting the bomb except begging the UN to join us in sanctions. He knew that Russia and China would never come to our aid. The UN despises us. Bush knew that. Why did he grovel?
Now we have Obama who wants to suck up to Iran and every other America hating nation on the planet. He knows that Iran will have the weapon. Don’t ever expect him to do anything about it.
Some people here like George W. Bush. That is their right. But the comments criticizing anyone who doesn’t share their admiration for him is a little wierd. Frankly speaking, I believe that his inexplicable passivity is connected to his desire for global government.

As for liking or disliking W, I’m kind of ambivalent. There were qualities in him that I liked and some I didn’t. One must give him credit for keeping the country secure for almost 8 years, when the whole left wing media government pack of poodles were biting his ankles every darn day. He did that because he has a certain steadfastness, which can sometimes be a weakness when it turns in to stupid mulishness, but served him well when it came to homeland security.
The question is, do you end up disliking the man because you disagree with things he did? I can see the pro side being “yes, he screwed up the country and paved the road for Obozo”. That makes me dislike the man. On the other hand, one can think that the guy is a good guy, really meant well, but just got things wrong. I’m unhappy with what he did, but I can’t dislike him for making mistakes.
There’s a big difference when it comes to my disagreements with libs, progressives, socialists, marxists - in other words, the Obama administration and most dem politicians. In that case, I truly believe they WANT to harm my country, to reduce it, weaken it, lower its standing, overrun it with illegal immigrants, destroy its unique culture, etc. I HATE THEM with a burning passion because they are the enemies of my beloved country: America, the last, best hope on earth.
