Pull quotes:
People close to him knew exactly what he meant, and what he intended to do, and were ecstatic at the opportunity to vote for him. The vast majority of the black community who voted for him had no idea what he meant, but voted for him anyway because he was black. Southern Democrats had no idea what he meant, but voted for him anyway because he was not a Republican. Independents thought he meant that he would change the process in Washington and offer some hope for political integrity....
What he meant is now painfully clear: Obama is on a mission to transform the government of the United States of America into a government based on Marxist principles, acting to achieve Marxist objectives, using the Marxist tactic: whatever it takes.
The fundamental change Obama promised is this: a change from Americas historic Constitutional Republic form of government, to a new, modernized Marxism delivered in little bites with nifty new sound-good names: health-care reform; card-check; smart growth; cap-and-trade; comprehensive planning; and a laundry list of additional schemes, plans, and programs, all designed to tighten the government noose around the neck of every citizen.
Any American who had done the slightest bit of research or who had paid the tiniest bit of attention should have felt their blood run cold when obama pledged to “fundamentally change the United States of America.” Instead, the libs cheered and well meaning useful idiots wept with joy. This writer is dead on.
Although we know little about obama, we know this - he’s doing exactly what he said he would do. We should not be surprised. As for those who are finally understanding - better late than never. Maybe. How much have we “fundamentally changes” already?
What he meant is now painfully clear:
a mission to transform the government...into a government based on Marxist principles...
acting to achieve Marxist objectives...
using the Marxist tactic:
As long as we insist on massaging our feelings of intellectual superiority and elitism by using the term "Marxist" instead of COMMUNIST, the vast majority of the black community, the Southern Democrats, the Independents and the vast majority of the American public, will continue to have no idea what he meant.
Obama "clearly agreed with me at the time that a shift in constitutional thinking from a rights-based discourse to one that centered [on] responsibility and duties ... would be a good thing," West told Politico. "Partly because of those conversations, I don't find it surprising at all that Sen. Obama's speeches are often marked by calls to spark a sense of responsibility, rather than a sense of grievance."

Discussing responsibilities which come with rights is a good thing, but not in the dangerous context suggested above.
