Can you repost this link or image? I am pretty sure that FMD is the one who took those nudey pics of Obama’s mother (prepregnancy since if she was pregnant, she was only a few weeks along) and it would appear she was in a very nice, African themed apartment. The African theme fits Obama Sr., but I can’t imagine him having the money FMD had.

Have/seen/have this download of pics and agree w/you that it was certainly - if not 'most likely' for benefit of some - that FMD did the photos. We know he was 'into' photography. While apt 'nice'; it appears to be comfortable and simple. Most likely his; but could have been 'hers'. (Maybe Obama spent some nights with a friend or Grandparents?/sigh) But why drag photo equip around. . .

Whatever, place not particularly relelvant to photo's themselves. They had a 'close' relationship; and given Frank Marshall Davis' own autobiography; am suspecting that he had a 'close' one with young Obama as well.
