I haven’t followed Rand Paul’s campaign, but I often hear him discussed as if his views are practically identical to his father’s. Does anyone know of any major political differences he has from his father’s views?

This race is not an up or down referendum on Rand Paul. Believe it or not, there is another candidate in the race, and to help you in your decision, you ought to investigate that candidate's entire political career, including the 90's.

Yes Rand Paul is a LibertarianCon, not a NeoCon. To many folks, this is a feature, not a bug. But by all means let me know if the other candidate is acceptable, once you have found out what he's done in the past.
