This story is much ado about nothing. I didn’t get a SSN until I’d moved from my birth state of Ohio to Virginia in order to start working. Therefore looking only at my number you would wrongly deduce that I was born in Va.

Wrong. This story isn't saying that he was born in Conn. It is saying he was issued a number from Conn. You got your number issued from VA because that is where you lived when you applied for your number. It doesn't designate where you were born. The question is how Obama got issued a number from Conn. when he never lived there.
