Liberals must feel very conflicted when they see this.
One the one hand they can relate to the guy using gay erotica to piss off religious types; but on the other they can relate to disrupting people they disagree with when they speak at universities (Ann Coulter for instance).
So it must be very hard for a liberal to parse the right & wrong of this incident, since in a way, both sides must seem right.
My take is that it’s hard to say who’s more contemptible — the “provocative” filmmaker (careful what you wish for, buddy) or the neanderthal Muslims.

tax dollars pay good men in uniform to protect the pussies that make this trash film from the dirtbags that would harm them. Then the good men in uniform get to be blamed and cursed by the pussies when a dirtbag gets harmed.
What he wants is to express his 'free speech'. ..more than that; he wants people to wake up to the evils and the hypocrisy- the truth and the threat of, ok - 'radical'- Islam.
