I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. After X-rays, 2CT scans and lots of therapy, nothing was helping. Took 4 yrs of my insistence on an MRI to get the proper diagnosis...torn rotator cuff!

Four years??

My conditioned worsened over a week's time until I finally saw my doctor, who referred me to a specialist. She took x-rays, viewed 'em and gave me a cortisone shot just above my shoulder blade. Two hours later the pain went away and four hours later I could lift my arm above my head.

The most remarkable thing was that I'd been told cortisone shots to the tendon hurt like hell.....I didn't feel a thing.
