I am totally familiar with this nominee’s politics. And I say that Mrs. Bush was reacting to the fact that he nominated a woman — as we were going to get a socialist either way. This nominee is no worse than whomever else Obama would have nominated.
But what do you think an ex-President’s wife was going to say - “Well, in all honesty, I think she’s a dirtbag?”
it would have been honest.
I watched this and thought she had parkinson’s her head kept nodding like a bobble head doll.
I used to have great respect for her, but she is curing that.
You think a former first lady is incapable of telling the truth is a better way than you describe?
And Laura did - she spoke her mind.
Seems like to some what is important is ‘gender’ or ‘race’. The right person for the job has taken a back seat.

How about “I’m here to talk about my book, not the Supreme Court nominee”.
Oh, stop it. The poster at #72 answered that very succinctly:
"I really wish she hadnt said that. The most she should have said was that she hadnt studied Kagans history yet and thus couldnt comment."
Really, is that so freaking hard??
