I lived in CA for fifty years and I never understood why the rich, famous and powerful should ever want to increase the amount of support for the undeserving poor (yes, a pretty difficult distinction off the top). But there never seemed to be a lack of money for poverty pimps and it looks like the past decade of utter mismanagement and financial whoredom hasn’t dented their enthusiasm one bit.
Glad I left. Never going back. Sad situation and I pray for all good Americans to be delivered from the gold-lined prison that has become California. (cue ‘White Bird’)
