Sadly, you don't know what you are talking about and your statement is not true; maybe before this election in their pasts, but Poizner has come out strong on border and illegal alien issues during the campaign.

Sadly, all the governor candidates have pretty much the same stance on illegal immigration.

Not so, Steve Poizner has said that cutting public benefits to illegals and revoking business licenses of companies that employ them has to be implemented for CA to regain financial solvency. Whitman has not put forth ONE idea that will help CA economy.
She says that she will be tough on businesses hiring of illegals but did she suggest ANY consequences? No, hers would be the same old slap on the wrist. Truth is Meg, even if EVERY company fired their illegal workers tomorrow we would STILL be in the same if not worse mess since they would be after more food and housing assistance.
