He is still in a heap of deep of his own making. Pity that he brought all this down on himself. He has not done CCW in Wisconsin either.

Hm, what then do you think of violating an unconstitutional law in order to give oneself standing to challenge said law because all the officials you talk with “pass the buck” to some other official?
To wit, my State Constitution’s right to keep and bear arms flatly prohibits laws abridging such right for security and defense. [See: http://www.conwaygreene.com/nmsu/lpext.dll?f=FifLink&t=document-frame.htm&l=query&iid=66b036fd.eebbfe6.0.0&q=%5BGroup%20%27nmc%20artii-6%27%5D ]
However, state statute 30-7-2.4 prohibits firearms on campus, directly contradicting the above. [See: http://www.conwaygreene.com/nmsu/lpext.dll?f=FifLink&t=document-frame.htm&l=query&iid=66b036fd.eebbfe6.0.0&q=%5BGroup%20%2730-7-2.4%27%5D ]
>He has not done CCW in Wisconsin [any good] either.
And how would you do the right good? Moreover, if everyone [in an official capacity] you turn to refuses to acknowledge the/a Constitution, what legal standing do you have for ANY of the rights protected therein?
He's gonna need Jesus real soon.
Indeed. Unless some substantial information has been left out or incorrectly reported, this guy acted inapproprately and he will now become the Brady group’s “Exhibit A” in their quest to prohibit CC in WI and to ban guns everywhere.
Neither has anyone else. Wisconsin doesn't have CCW.
Such is life. At least he is alive and not dead. There are consequences to defending yourself. I think the criminals who were shot deserve considerable responsibility for this situation.
