Village??? Villagers??? In America??? WE have towns/cities, EUROPE has villages! WHY is the writer talking about villages and villagers???

Calm yourself. The writer is correct. Under Ohio law, all municipalities with populations of less than 5000 are called villages. All over 5000 are called cities. There are no "towns" in Ohio.
