I sure wish we had someone like Gov Christie in California, the land of spineless politically correct GOP squishes.
FWIW, I gather from comments from Jersey Freepers Christie was a bit of an unknown quantity but stood head and shoulders above anyone else in the running. I also gather he has moved more to the right since taking office, in particular re killing the unborn and gun rights. I have to assume he came to the realization conservatives put him in office and a new day is dawning. He may be better at reading tea leaves than some of his contemporaries.
