Scariest movie for me was Deliverance. Brian DePalma made an entire career out of ripping off the end of that movie.

OK, time for me to come clean...the scariest movie for me as a kid was "The Blob", back in the late 50's. The scene where the Blob was oozing out the projection booth windows really freaked me out, especially since I saw it in a movie theater! And I had nightmares for months afterwards, every time the wind would blow a branch against my window.

(shudder)

To this day, I won't watch that movie again. I only wish MST3K could have given it "the treatment".
