Craig Miller is running for Congress for the 24th District of Florida, a seat currently held by Suzanne Kosmas.
Mr. Miller enlisted in the Air Force and served in Vietnam, went to college afterwards and got a business degree at what is now UCF, then worked his way up and became the CEO of UNO Restaurants and later Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
Here's his web site: http://www.craigmillerforcongress.com
Here's the latest campaign video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGyq2nhAi24
I've volunteered to help with his campaign, and ask any likeminded FReeper to join!
"I believe the so called stimulus plan was a poor idea and did nothing to stimulate free market entrepreneurism. As a Ronald Reagan Republican, I understand that government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem. We should not shoulder our children and grandchildren with trillion dollar deficits that are sure to lead to inflation if not addressed.
That is why I took the Americans for Tax Reform Pledge and will oppose any efforts to increase the marginal tax rate for individuals and businesses, and to oppose any reduction or elimination of deductions, unless matched dollar for dollar by further reducing tax rates. I believe government should be more transparent and less intrusive into our lives.
Less Government and Less Taxes equal more freedom. "

Not sure if sold his part of Ruth’s Chris, but yeah, I agree with you on the steaks!
A decent candidate.
What’s his track record/stance on illegal immigration?
I don't want to speak for the guy, but given his stances on the other issues, I'd bet you a Ruth's Chris steak that he's for the Arizona law and a wall. I'll email the campaign and find out...
Thanks, Tex.
I have a feeling that Miller’s stance on immigration mirrors Jeb Bush.
When a politician is silent on an issue it means he/she/it is hiding something.
