Posted on 05/13/2010 11:51:47 AM PDT by McGavin999
This is a link to the article by E. J. Montini. Sorry but we can only post links but it's well worth the trip to McCain Vanishing from Race with JD
Even Montini is laughing at McCain and his new ad.

Hayworth hasn’t even brought out the big gun ads either, and he has an enormous amount of ammo to fire given to him on a silver platter by McCain himself by his historic “Maverickism.” A political dynasty is about to collapse, its a dollar short and a day late but I’ll take it.

Taking out Bennett and Mollohan was big. Taking out McCain would be epic. I read a story today were the inside the beltway crowd is in a state of total shock and disbelief over two powerful incumbents getting thrown out in less than a week. I think if McCain lost as well, it would essentially shut down Washington until the election as politicians run back to their districts to try to salvage their careers and avoid taking anything that even remotely resembles a controversial vote.

He's not "vanishing." He's running more and more nauseating ads on Fox News, for sure.
What Montini is saying is the liberal "maverick" is vanishing. He agrees with us that McCain isn't pivoting to the right...he's pandering to the right. I don't like being pandered to any more than I like it when a pol panders to the other side.

On my way to Arizona today for my son's graduation from ASU, he is off for the summer and is going to volunteer Monday to work on JD’s campaign!

I hope this is the case. Living in Scottsdale, I’ve seen TONS of McCain posters along the sides of roads and heard TONS of his ads on the tv and radio.
I’ve yet to see one JD poster, and the only time I hear him on the radio is when he’s being interviewed.

Bob Bennett's removal sent a message to the RNC.
If McCain loses the primary, it will send an earthquake.
Are they capable of reading it?

He is saving up for the big bash just prior to the primary, and it will be devastating. Given that Hayworth is holding his own despite not having much public exposure shows how powerful his candidacy is.

Yes, and McCain's Emails are just as sickening. I guess he thinks people don't remember what his stance on amnesty was up until about 4 months ago.
Unfortunately for him the voters he has to convince are conservatives for the most part and they know the truth.

A lot of conservatives in Arizona are worried that JD won’t be able to win against a Democrat. Some of them are voting for McCain for that reason.
