As parents, we are concerned with what our children are exposed to. We might have blocks on certain channels. But there are, among others, friends whose parents do not care and peers at school who push these shows.
You have two choices - get your kids to bed at a reasonable time or drop your cable service. Why force your beliefs on others? What I am saying goes beyond the issue or pornography but to a multitude of other issues.
