Barbara Bush was pro-abortion, too. Very unfortunate, because I like both of those ladies. But they seem to have blind spots on some of these basic moral issues.
I think that Harriet Miers was a feminist and was quietly pro-abortion, in spite of all the efforts to paint her as an “Evangelical.” And it was Laura more than anyone who backed that supremely lousy choice for the Supreme Court.
Hmmm, The dear Mrs. Bush and Lillian Carter are both poster gals for absinthe and eternal maidenhood.

Sadly, relativism has eaten away at large segments of our population. People often buy into ideas promoted by the popular culture without thinking through to the logical outcome.
I have no love loss for any politicians and their wives, don’t care for most of them. We the people never really know who we are voting for except for Obama there was just too much radicals friends but when it all comes down to it, it’s all about them and not so much about us. Call me cynical I can accept that! Bush had 8 years to do something about the border especially after 911, that has always been a sticking point for me.
