I’m talking about lawsuit liability resulting from an accident involving a firearm. It is a whole different problem for a business owner.It should be the problem of the person carrying carelessly, not the owner of the premises unless the person is an employee, but then that is a measure of the need for tort reform.

I agree.
But lawsuits are about deep pockets and businesses protect themselves from such risks.
