Los Angeles boycotting Arizona. Maybe we should just boycott Hollywood for a few months.

The last movie I went to see was All About the Benjamins in 2002 and before that it was Star Wars the Phantom Menace in 1999. The only thing left for me to do is boycott anything I see that says made in California and buy anything I can find made in Arizona.

Chill out bro. :) My point was that people become rabid over the Entertainment industry in ways that would be better suited for addressing serial killers and child molesters. It’s predictable and not constructive. Why not actually get into the industry and try to make a difference...and as has been mentioned earlier in this thread, L.A. is not equivalent to Hollywood which probably has more conservatives per capita than L.A.

not the cities of Hollywood, Malibu, Pacific Heights, Beverly Hills, Studio City
Of those you mention, Hollywood (not to be confused with West Hollywood) and Studio City are indeed part of the City of Los Angeles.

But the people who work in Hollywood mostly live in Beverly Hills, Malibu...

My mistake, Studio City is incorporated into LA. Thanks for the correction.

Yup sure did, and I think that if we truly want to send a message, that’s what we should do. Boycott the crap and support the conservative flicks. If no one goes, it’s blamed on the economy. If we see only the conservative movies, it sends a message.

Actors are small fairly small percentage of a film crew. Filmmaking is mostly a blue collar profession.

My point was that people become rabid over the Entertainment industry in ways that would be better suited for addressing serial killers and child molesters. Like Roman Polanski?

Polanski isn;t really a Hollywood figure. He hasn’t made a film there in over 40 years. Besides there are questionable figures in all professions.

I'm from California, and we've been boycotting Hollywood queers, leftist and Hollywood movies for years...
Any movie we want we get it free....We'll let Hollywood figure out how.

Yes, but plenty of Hollywood's little darlings, including Woopie "it wasn't 'rape-rape'" Goldberg, supported him and called for dismissal of the case against him.
Hollywood also hosts a plethora of rich, spoiled marxists such as Sean Penn and Danny Glover.
You spend your money where you choose and I'll spend my money where I choose. You are pro choice, right?

Anti-abortion all the way. The % of people who are vocal about this or that is actually quite small. There are lots of bad books and bad music as well, do you also not read or listen to music?
