Thanks for filling out the details. A little bit easier to understand. At least it seems the guy tried to hide the stuff. Well, Egyptian “justice” a little different from the “evil” Great Satan USA. It will definitely suck to be this guy!

The TSA confirmed that two undeclared firearms were found in the man's luggage, but said there had been no security glitch at JFK.

Packing weapons in checked baggage is legal in the US. When a passenger is flying internationally it is the responsibility of the passenger and the airline to clarify rules at the destination for the goods, according to US law.

"Transporting firearms within the US in checked baggage is permitted if properly declared to the airline," the TSA said in a statement.

A US security official who asked not to be identified said that the TSA's job is to scan only for explosives, not weapons, in checked baggage.
