Ok, good point and I buy that-—using the primaries to flush and distill is good-as long as scars are not irreparable.

We just MUST be more strategic-minded in the general.

A third party candidate will be our demise.

The whole point of the primaries is to flush out the GOP's dead wood. That is what we are doing and this author is objecting too.

If we had done this in 2006 instead of blinding being loyal to our thugs, deviants and crooks, like Mark Foley, just cause they were in office, we would not of lost the majority

Nobody on this thread is talking about third party candidates but you. Our goal is to win primaries with conservative candidates and kick the RINOs out! Were you content with John McCain as our party's nominee in 2008? Do you enjoy seeing him poke his finger in the eyes of conservatives and side with the Rats time after time in the Senate? Do you think 3 term 'moderate' incumbents should be given a life time tenure just because they have an R after their name?

Now is the time to build a conservative army to win at the polls in November. Quit wringing your hands and get to work!

Christ of Florida, Jefferies of Vermont, and Specter. All RINO’s, all left the GOP. So what wing, who are ‘splitting’ the party?
